Casual Friday.
This was a bad idea that caught on for ALL the wrong reasons. It was initially designed to reward employees for a week of work well done. The problem is that the week is not over! Casual Friday attire immediately communicates to your customer that you are just one day away from the weekend, and you’re counting down every minute. Is that any way to demonstrate your commitment to customer service? No one serious about their career would ever expose their clients to less than their best professional self or services. Consistency is key to a successful career. Whatever you thought was your “best foot forward” on Monday should be there front and center on Friday.
